FUJIFILM North America Corporation officially announced FUJIKINA New York 2026, a massive three-day photography festival scheduled for October 16–18, 2026 across Manhattan's Lower East Side. Expanding upon past single-day gatherings, the 2026 festival marks Fujifilm's largest U.S. event to date, designed to celebrate nearly 200 years of visual storytelling history alongside over nine decades of Fujifilm imaging innovation.
The three-day immersive experience will feature keynote addresses, hands-on workshops, live photo walks, portfolio reviews, and multi-venue print exhibitions. Fujifilm is partnering with prestigious cultural organizations including Magnum Photos, World Press Photo, and the International Center of Photography (ICP) to curate gallery spaces that highlight both historic masterworks and groundbreaking contemporary photojournalism.
As part of the announcement, Fujifilm launched a worldwide community initiative titled "Inheritance." Photographers of all skill levels are invited to submit imagery documenting heritage, changing environmental landscapes, and stories intended to endure for future generations. Selected submissions will be showcased in dedicated digital and print installations throughout the New York festival venues.
